Individual Therapy
I offer sessions for individuals age 14 and up. Individual therapy offers a unique space for you to explore and express your own feelings safely. You don't have to watch your words or police your own thoughts (unless that's part of what we're working on). My role as a therapist is to come alongside you in these sessions to dig deep, identify areas that need change, and support you as you implement the changes you want in your life. While I always have a systems perspective in mind, individual sessions allow me to give undivided attention to you.
There may be times when it is therapeutically helpful to have a joint session with your partner or parent, and I may suggest them on occasion. However, sustained family therapy or couples therapy would be referred to another therapist.
